Principle of quenching the flywheel ring gear by medium frequency quenching machine

The flywheel ring gear assembly is a connecting member that transmits the power of the starter to the crankshaft. The main function is to realize the power transmission between the starter and the crankshaft. The inertia flywheel for the engine is a disc with a large moment of inertia, which is installed behind the engine crankshaft. On the end flange, a ring gear is pressed on the outer edge of the flywheel to engage the drive gear of the starter, and at the rear is a joint surface of the clutch. Because the flywheel ring gear of automobile and tractor engines is usually made of 45 steel, the main function is to realize the power transmission between the starter and the crankshaft. The tooth surface is rubbed and impacted by hand, which requires high wear resistance, high strength and high hardness.
