How to improve the melting speed of the intermediate frequency induction furnace?

Time: 2019-05-28

The former is generally used for  alloy materials, the latter is used for refining steel, and can achieve dozens of tons of electroslag furnaces. Medium frequency induction furnaces are generally not so large, rarely exceeding ten tons of medium frequency induction furnaces. The frequency of the intermediate frequency induction furnace and the electroslag remelting furnace are different, and the frequency of the intermediate frequency induction furnace is higher than the frequency of the power frequency furnace.

The medium frequency coreless induction holding furnace is mainly used for the melting of cast iron, cast steel, molten copper, molten aluminum and other metals. It has improved working conditions, high electrical efficiency and small metal loss. It is characterized by high efficiency, energy saving, uniform metal composition and less burning loss. The temperature rises quickly, the temperature is easy to control, and no pollution is maintained to maintain full power output.

The melting efficiency of the melting furnace is as high as 60% or more, but the heating efficiency of the superheated molten iron is very low, generally only 6-7%, mainly used for the melting of metals with low melting temperature such as cast iron, copper and aluminum.
