Five Advantages of Induction Melting Furnace

Compared with other electric arc furnaces and cupola furnaces for melting metals and table gold, induction melting furnaces have the following advantages:

1. Strong induced current is induced in the heated metal itself, causing the metal to heat and melt, thus the heating temperature is uniform and the burning loss is less, thus avoiding the local high temperature generated by electric arc furnace. This is of great significance to the melting of precious metals, rare metals and their table gold. For example, the melting loss of nickel, chromium, vanadium and tungsten in an induction furnace is 2/3 less than that in an electric arc furnace.

2. In induction melting furnace, the molten metal is stirred by electromagnetic force, so the molten metal has uniform composition and high quality, and the heating equipment will not pollute the metal.

3, the melting temperature rises rapidly, the furnace temperature is easy to control, the production efficiency is high, and the method can be widely applied to the melting of black and non-ferrous metals.

4. The ambient temperature around the furnace is low, with less smoke and noise, so the operating environment is good.

5. Without electrodes or fuel, it can run intermittently or continuously.
