Fault phenomenon

When the intermediate frequency power supply is running, the DC voltage and the intermediate frequency voltage have reached the rated value, but the DC current is small and the power is low.

Fault analysis and processing

The cause of this failure is as follows.

(1) The load impedance is high, and the contact resistance of the connecting line of the tank circuit (LC oscillation circuit) is too large. Check whether the resistance of the water cable joint is increased. Due to the long-term use, the connection of the copper strip of the tank is affected by dust. The effect of the contact resistance is increased, resulting in an increase in the impedance of the load. This malfunction occurs and dust should be cleaned.

(2) The compensation amount of the load compensation capacitor is insufficient. The capacitor may be opened due to internal breakdown. The compensation capacitor should be added, or the capacitor link copper bus should be inspected for signs of poor contact or sparking.

(3) The material in the furnace body is too empty, or the body of the furnace is becoming smaller, which will affect the output of power.
